A Derry man and woman are awaiting sentencing after admitting carrying the armed robbery of a pharmacy in the city earlier this year.
Elaine Bradley (41), of Altcar Park and David Anthony Comiskey (41), of Chamberlain Street, pleaded guilty to stealing prescription drugs from McKenna’s Chemist in Great James Street on 10 January last when the appeared at Derry Crown Court this moring.
Both also admitted to having offensive weapons, Comiskey a large black handled knife and Bradley a hammer.
Both were remanded in custody to allow the preparation of pre-sentence reports.
