Motorists are advised of a road closure in the Bellaghy area of Co Derry to facilitate roadworks in the area due to begin at the start of next week
Work has begun on a £150,000 major resurfacing scheme on the B182 Gulladuff Road from Bellaghy village for a distance of approximately 0.9kilometres towards the Drumlamph Road.
The majority of this work is programmed to be completed using a road closure which will commence on Monday next, 19 May, for two days.
During this period traffic will be diverted through Hillhead, Knocklougrim and Gulladuff.
Regional Development Minister Danny Kennedy said the scheme would “greatly improve the strength and surface quality of the carriageway.”
The above planned dates are subject to favourable weather conditions and Roads Service will keep the public informed of any change.
