Two Romanian families whose homes in the Waterside area of Derry were targeted by bombers earlier this year have left city, it has emerged.
The news comes as the Police Service of Northern Ireland announced it is introduce a new dedicated phone line for reporting racist hate crime.
Nine people, including a child, escaped injury when devices exploded outside houses in Lapwing Way and Lincoln Courts in March.
Announcing details of the new phone line, Assistant Chief Constable Will Kerr said the service would be accessed through the PSNI’s non-emergency 101 telephone number.
He said he hoped it would encourage people to pass on more information and help police to deal with the recent upsurge in racist attacks.
