Police in Derry are appealing for information about two burglaries which occurred during daylight yesterday.
Sometime between 7.00pm and 7.25pm last night, a black money box containing approximately £50-£60, connected to the television, was stolen from a house in Carnhill.
Earlier, a sum of money was also stolen from a house at Waterbank in the Limavady Road area of the city.
The house was entered via rear patio doors between 10.am and 11.am.
A PSNI spokesperson asked anyone with information to contact detectives at Strand Road on the non-emergency 101 telephone number or telephone Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
