Hundreds of sightseers are making their way to Derry’s Peace Bridge to snatch a glimpse of an unexpected visitor to the city – a seal!

The mammal has swam up the River Foyle and has come ashore on one of the bases of the bridge and looks set to attract even more attention than the killer whale – nicknamed “Dopey Dick” – that spent a week in the River Foyle in November 1977.
