A 24-year-old woman had a lucky escape when the car she was driving crashed into a domestic oil tank in Greysteel late last night.
Fire appliances from Crescent Link attended the incident which occurred at Foyleview Park shortly before 11.30pm.
The woman, who sustained minor injuries managed to get out of the car before the arrival of firefighters, was taken to Altnagelvin Hospital by ambulance for treatment.
A spokesperson for the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service said: “Fire crews made safe the vehicle and used absorbent pads to deal with the oil leak.”
