Four men were arrested after a car was allegedly rammed near Derry.
The incident occurred at around 7.00pm last night when the driver of a white BMW noted two other cars behind him at Ballykelly.
As he drove towards the city, the other cars – a silver Renault Megane and a black Volkswagen Golf – tried to get in front of him.
The BMW driver believes they were trying to stop his car.
At the Broadbridge roundabout, the BMW was struck on its nearside by one of the cars.
A short time later, police were alerted and arrested four men, all aged between 24 and 29 and from the Ballykelly area.
They were later released pending further enquiries.
It is believed the incident followed a dispute involving the parties.
A PSNI spokesperson said police wanted to hear from anyone who was on the road and saw events unfold.
They are particularly keen to hear again from the driver of another car who spoke briefly to officers last night.
