Two people were taken to hospital following a three vehicle pile-up on the main Derry to Belfast road late yesterday afternoon.
A car and trailer, a lorry and a car were involved in the collision which occurred on the Glenshane Road near Dungiven shortly before 5.00pm.
Firefighters used cutting equipment to free the drivers of the two cars who were taken to Altnagelvin Hospital by ambulance for treatment to injuries which are not thought to be life-threatening.
The road was closed for a period causing lengthy traffic delays in the area.
