Detectives in Derry are investigating an overnight petrol bomb attack on a house in the Galliagh area of the city.
The device was thrown at a house in the Fergleen Mews area at around 2.00am, causing scorch damage to the front door.
No one was injured in the incident which came just under 24 hours after shots were fired at a car at Friel Close in the Ballymagroarty area.
It is not known if the two incidents are connected,.
Police have appealed to anyone who witnessed either attack, or who has information which could assist their investigations, to contact Strand Road CID on the non-emergency number 101.
