Two people have been arrested after a burglary at a house in the Woodbrook area of Derry in the early hours of this morning.
At around 2.30am, it was reported a property in the area had been entered and a quantity of cash and two handbags stolen.
Keys for a mobile shop were also take.
The mobile shop was also entered and a sum of cash and quantity of cigarettes stolen.
Two males, aged 16 and 22, have been arrested and are currently in custody assisting police with their enquiries.
A PSNI spokesperson asked anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone with any information to contact CID at Strand Road Police Station on the non-emergency number 101.
