A 17 year old boy is among three people being questioned by police following a major drugs bust in Derry last night.
The teenager and two men, aged 39 and 41, were arrested on suspicion of having Class and Class B drugs after what a police spokesperson described as a “substantial quantity” were seized.
Chief Inspector Andy Lemon, said the “substantial seizure” further reinforced the PSNI’s determination to remove controlled drugs from the city.
He added: “The potential harm to the public caused by drugs is an issue that the PSNI take seriously.
“We will continue to work in conjunction with our colleagues from Organised Crime Branch and partner agencies to ensure we bring to justice those involved in dealing in drugs at all levels.”
