A 41 year-old Derry man has appeared at the local Magistrates Court charged in connection with the discovery of £125,000 drugs in the city.
Richard Callaghan, of Rath Mor Crescent, is charged with possession of class A and class B drugs, namely cocaine and cannabis, with intent to supply on Friday last, 13 June.
He is also charged with being concerned in the supply of class A and class B drugs on the same date.
A police officer told the court he could connect Callaghan to the charges.
There was no application for bail and Callaghan was remanded in custody to appear at Derry Magistrates Court on 10 July next via video link.
