Doire Colmcille’s Dean Curran has been called up to the Derry senior football squad by manager, Brian McIver, for the county’s All-Ireland qualifier against Longford on Saturday.
Everyone at the city club is delighted for the player.
Coach Brian Duffy said Dean’s deserved call-up was a result of his dedication and hard work and was an indication that Colmcille were making progress.
Brian said that, with constant effort, Colmcille could expect to see the behind-the-scenes work resulting in success on the playing field.
