Police in Derry are appealing for information about a city centre “road rage” attack in which a man sustained a serious facial injury.
The incident occurred at around 2.00am on Wednesday last, 11 June, when the man, who had walked out in front of a car, was struck by a male who got out of the vehicle.
As the victim moved away in the direction of Union Hall Place, he was pursued by the man and struck a second time in the face, sustaining a fractured cheekbone and a broken tooth.
A PSNI spokesperson said information could be given on the police non-emergency number 101 or by calling Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
