Two suspected pipe bombs have been found by police in Strabane.
The devices were found last night next to Strabane Cemetery in the Head of the Town area during a search by detectives from PSNI’s Serious Crime Branch investigating dissident republican activity.
The find follows the discovery of suspected handguns and petrol bombs in the town at the weekend.
Patrick Leonard, SDLP representative for the area, said those responsible had shown “no respect” for the people within their own community.
He added:”There is no place in Strabane for these sorts of disruptions.”
