A fundraising open day and coffee morning will be held tomorrow in the gardens of the Foyle Hospice on Derry’s Culmore Road.
The event, taking place from 10.00am to 1.00pm, offers visitors the opportunity to tour the Hospice’s magnificent Peace Garden.
Ciaran McGinley, head of fundraising at the Hospice, said said the gardens had become an “important feature” of the Hospice over the past few years.
He said the Peace Garden, which features a “Peace Bridge,” offered people a “place of tranquillity.”
He added: “One of the most recent editions to our gardens in the last year has been the Memory Tree which offers people the opportunity to purchase a leaf to hang on the tree in memory of a loved one who has passed away .”
