Police in Magherafelt in Co Derry are appealing for information after cattle escaped from a field following a car collision which damaged a fence.
The incident occurred at Ballymacpeake Road close to the junction with Mayogall Road in Portglenone on Wednesday night last.
As a result of the damage caused to the fence, cattle escaped from the field.
Police believe the vehicle involved may have been a Nissan 4×4 or a similar type of vehicle.
The believe it may have sustained damage to its front lights, wing mirror and side trim.
A PSNI spokesperson asked anyone who saw the incident, or has knowledge of a vehicle with similar damage, to contact police on the non-emergency number, 101.
