Police in Limavady are seeking assistance in identifying the driver of a car that caused a teenage female cyclist to fall off her bike.
The incident occurred at around 8.15am on Monday last when the 17-year-old was cycling on the Glenshane Road in the direction of Claudy, convenient to Ness Nurseries when a blue vehicle overtook her.
The vehicle then attempted to overtake a tractor and, on seeing there was oncoming traffic, pulled back over in such a way that it caused the cyclist to fall off her bicycle, resulting in several injuries.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “Any help identifying the driver of this vehicle, believed to be a blue Ford, would be appreciated. Police can be contacted on the non-emergency number 101.”
