Derry City go into their Europa League clash with Aberystwyth Town at Brandywell tonight looking for a win to take into next week’s return leg.
City boss Peter Hutton travelled to Wales at the weekend to watch the Welsh Premier League side and despite their friendly defeat to TNS, he feels the “Seasiders” have plenty to offer in terms of technical ability.
David Elebert is the only doubt for tonight’s clash.
Aberystwyth – making their first appearance in a European tie in 10 years – arrived in Derry earlier in the week and have trained at the Brandywell and have no injury worries ahead of tonight’s clash.
The visitors have several new signings who may feature, including Thomas Atyeo, on loan from Swansea.
