Brian Ogs under-14s made history tonight when they were crowned champions of the Derry Under-14 A League – the first all-county A league title won by the Steelstown club.
The side – who clinched the title tonight after Swatragh conceded their scheduled game – celebrated with a hastily-arranged challenge game against Buncrana.
It is a tremendous achievement by the young side who went through their campaign unbeaten.
The boys made it four wins from four with an impressive away win over Glen at the weekend on a scoreline of 7.07 to 0.05.
In a superb team display, there were star performances right throughout the team from keeper Odhran Gill right throughout the team with a James Lynch hat-trick of goals the highlight.
