The Western Health Trust, which introduced a smoking ban across all its sites earlier this year, wants to find out what members of the public think of the policy.
The Trust is carrying out a survey to determine the public’s thoughts on and how they have found the transition.
A Trust spokesperson said: “Following the launch of our Smoke Free sites on 12 March 2014, we want to review and get your thoughts on how you have found the transition.”
Urging members of the public to complete the survey, the spokesperson stressed it took just two minutes to complete and all responses would remain anonymous.
To complete the survey go to: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/SmokeFreePublic.
Since introduced, patients, staff and visitors are no longer allowed to smoke at the entrance of Trust buildings, car parks or inside their own cars on Trust premises, including Altnagelvin Hospital in Derry.
The Western Trust is the first health authority in the North to ban smoking in its grounds.
