The new Chief Constable of the PSNI has made his first visit to Derry since taking up the post from Matt Baggott.
During his visit, George Hamilton held private meetings with community leaders and officers at Strand Road police station.
He also met local Church leaders including the Bishop of Derry, Most Rev Dr Donal McKeown.
Speaking at a press conference, Mr Hamilton said those who carried out dissident republican attacks, such as the firebombing of the Everglades Hotel, would be rigorously pursued and “locked up.”
