Mark Forker and Ruairi Keating have left SSE Airtricity Division One club Finn Harps.
Former Heart of Midlothian midfielder Forker made his first team debut against Kildare County in March 2009 and went on to make a total of 105 appearances scoring four goals.
Confirming Forker’s departure from Ballybofey, manager Ollie Horgan said: “We accept Marks reasons for seeking pastures new and wish him the very best in his future career.
“He has always been a very popular lad with everyone at Finn Park and on behalf of everyone at the club I would like to thank Mark for his contribution to Finn Harps during his time here.”
Meanwhile, it looks almost certain Ruairi Keating will be returning to Finn Park, after h featured as a substitute in John Coleman’s first match in charge of Sligo Rovers against Cork City last weekend.
The striker, who bagged six goals for Harps this season, did not feature in Sligo’s 4-0 Europa League win over FK Banga Gargzdai at the Showgrounds last night.
