Following their historic 5-0 defeat of Welsh Premier League side Abersytwyth Town on Thursday night, Derry City has announced it has chartered a plane to Belarus for the away leg of the Europa League clash with FC Shaktar Soligorsk and a limited number of seats are available on the flight for supporters.
Whilst details have yet to be finalised, the planned itinerary, including an overnight stay, will see the flight leave City of Derry Airport for Minsk on the morning of Wednesday, 23 July.
The return flight will leave immediately after the game on Thursday, 24 July, arriving back at City of Derry in the early hours of the following day, Friday, 25 July.
The cost is £395 plus accommodation and visa costs which have yet to be confirmed.
A club spokesperson said: “The club are delighted to announce that they will be running a club charter to the away leg of this tie, and a limited number of seats are available to supporters who wish to travel.
“As there are a limited number of seats for supporters, those interested in travelling are urged to contact the club office in order to express their interest and reserve a place.”
