BODY RECOVERED FROM RIVER FOYLE

A body has been recovered from the River Foyle in Derry this morning after a person was seen entering the water.

A spokesperson for the PSNI said police received a report at around 10.30am that someone had gone into the River Foyle from Foyle Bridge.

Volunteers from Foyle Search and Rescue were tasked to the scene and recovered a body.
