Police in Derry are appealing for information about an assault in the Creggan area of Derry in which a man sustained a broken nose.
Police have just released details of the incident which occurred in the early hours of Saturday, 28 June last.
The man was assaulted by three males as he walked along a path from Ballymagowan towards Creggan Heights at around 1.00am.
The victim suffered a broken nose and cuts and bruising to his body as a result of the assault.
One of the males was described as being around 6’2″ tall and was wearing a grey tracksuit.
The other two males were around 5’10” tall, one of slim build and one of stocky build.
All three spoke with a local accents.
A PSNI spokesperson asked anyone with information about the incident to contact police at Strand Road on the non emergency telephone number 101.
