A number of families have been moved from their homes in the Waterside area of Derry following the discovery of suspicious device.
Briitish army bomb disposal experts at Westlake at Enagh on the outskirts of the city.
It is believed the device was found next to a car in a house in the estate at around 7.00am this morning.
