Two people were taken to hospital following a two-car collision in Derry city centre in the early hours of this morning.
The country-bound carriageway of the Foyle Embankment was closed for a period after the crash which occurred at the thoroughfare’s junction with the Foyle roundabout at around 1.00am.
The driver and passenger of one of the cars involved were taken to Altnagelvin Hospital by ambulance for treatment for injuries which are not believed to be serious.
Fire crews attended the scene but it is understood all involved were able to free themselves from both vehicles.
