There are lengthy delays on the main Derry to Letterkenny road following a serious road accident near Manorcunningham this afternoon.
It is understood a number of people have been taken to Letterkenny Hospital following the collision which occurred close to Murray’s car dealers. Their conditions are not known.
Traffic diversions have been put in place and lengthy delays are expected in the area for several hours.
Garda accident investigators are carrying out a detailed examination of the scene.
