Doire Colmcille senior manager, Brian Duffy, has called on all players to step up efforts at training in preparation for the championship.
The team’s first round game against Moneymore has been provisionally fixed for 17 August.
Following a number of indifferent results, Duffy is hoping to end the season with a good championship run.
Everyone at the club extends congratulations to Doire Colmcille senior player, Emmet McGilloway, and his wife on the birth of their baby son.
Training for the club’s underage girls’ team continues at St Columb’s College on Wednesday nights at 7.00pm.
Players should bring boots for training on the grass pitches.
