PRISONER “ON THE RUN” FROM MAGILLIGAN JAIL

Kevin Grint: unlawfully at large.

Police have appealed for information about a prisoner who has “gone on the run” from a jail in Co Derry.

Kevin Grint (31) has been unlawfully at large from Magilligan Prison since Wednesday last where he was being detained for obstructing police, criminal damage and common assault.

He is described as 1.75m tall, medium build with a fresh complexion, brown hair and green eyes with a piercing in his left ear.

Tattoos include “KG:” on his upper right arm and “Caoinin” on his upper back.

His distinguishing marks include scars on his forehead, upper and lower left arm, left hand and both knees.

A police spokesperson asked members of the public if they saw  anyone matching this description to your nearest police station on the 101 non-emergency telephone number or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111
