Police in Derry are appealing for information about an arson attack in the Ballyarnett area of the city this morning.
It was reported to police at around 7:30am, that a red BMW Coupe car was on fire in the area.
Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene and the fire was extinguished.
Police are investigating the cause of the fire, but at this stage believe it was started deliberately.
A PSNI spokesperson said enquiries were continuing and asked anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who has any information to contact police on the non-emergency 101 telephone number.
