Kevin Cassidy (23) was the winner of yesterday’s Stableford at City of Derry Golf Club, scoring a massive 44 points in the process with no less than 26 of those coming on the back nine – his second win at Prehen.
Paul McGrellis (16) raced to the turn with 23 points and added a further 19 on the homeward stretch to claim the second prize with 42 points overall, a winning score on most occasions.
Darren Heaney (9) consolidated his new single figure handicap even further with another impressive round to finish in third place on 40 points, thanks to a favourable tie break.
Stephen McKeegan (4) had 35 points to take the best gross prize.
