Motorists are advised to expect delays in the Waterside area of Derry this weekend due to road improvement works on the A6 Glenshane Road.
A major £95,000 resurfacing scheme from Altnagelvin Roundabout to Belt Road will start on Sunday next, 10 August, and last for approximately one week.
The majority of the work will be undertaken at night from 7.00pm to 7.00am.
However, for particular operations it will be necessary to close certain lanes of the carriageway.
A diversionary route will be signposted via Crescent Road, Irish Street and Belt Road.
Access will be maintained for residents and businesses.
The scheme is expected to be substantially completed by 17 August.
