YOUTH SOUGHT IN CONNECTION WITH HOUSE FIRE

Police are hunting a youth in connection with an overnight house fire in Derry.

Fire crews were called to deal with the blaze at a house at Norcroft Street at around 1.00am.

A PSNI spokesperson said police would like to speak to a youth who was seen leaving the premises at the time.

The spokesperson said: “Police would like to speak to a youth, who was seen leaving the premises with a flat screen television at the time of the incident to contact them on the non emergency number 101.

“Or if someone woule prefer to provide their details without giving their information, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
