Cash has been stolen during a daylight burglary of a house in the Waterside area of Derry.
Detectives from Strand Road are appealing for information following the break-in at Broomhill Court, off Limavady Road.
The house was broken into sometime between 6.00am and 1.20pm yesterday and a sum of money stolen.
A PSNI spokesperson asked anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area or who has any information to contact CID in Strand Road police station on the non emergency 101 telephone number.
Information can also be passed anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
