Ger Rogan has stepped down as Derry senior hurling manager.
The 41-year-old took over the post from James O’Kane in 1911.
During his term as Derry hurling boss, he launched a scathing attack on the Ulster Hurling Championship and urged authorities to overhaul the competition.
Belfast-born Rogan, who played both hurling and football form Antrim, took issue with the Ulster Council over its choice of match venues, disputed his home county’s automatic entry into the provincial final and suggested that “lesser counties” were not espected.
