Derry athlete Chris McPeake made a successful return after a lengthy absence from competitive athletics to win today’s Ballinderry 10k.
The City of Derry AC runner put in an impressive performance over the scenic course in and around the Co Derry village to post a time of 34.24 to retain the title he won last year
Aaron Meharg, of Acorns AC, was 15 seconds behind in second place with Sperrin Harriers’ Aidan O’Hagan a minute further behind in third in a time of 35.39.
