City of Derry Spartan Alan Bogle put in an impressive performance to win the Lurig Challenge mountain race staged in Cushendall, Co Antrim, at the weekend.
The race, held of a 3.5 mile course (with 375 metres of ascent) was part of the week-long festival of events in the area and attracted several hundred competitors.
Bogle crossed the finish line in 28.06 ahead of Jonny Streede, of Ballymena Runners, who posted a time of 29.33.
Alex Brennan (Ballymena Runners) claimed third place in 30:47.
