Police have arrested two men in Derry in connection with the shooting of a man in the city last month.
The 32-year-old victim was shot in both legs at a playpark in the predominantly loyalist Lincoln Courts in the Waterside area of the city at around 11.30pm on Tuesday, 22 July.
At the time, local DUP MLA William Hay claimed the man was “ordered” to go to the playpark before being shot.
A PSNI spokesperson said the two arrested men, aged 33 and 31, were arrested in the Foyle area and were currently in police custody.
