Police in Derry have revealed they have made a “high number” of arrests in the city in the past seven days in the fight against crime and anti-social behaviour.
A number of the arrests were as a result of incidents being reported to police by members of the public.
As a result, police have appealed to people to continue to report incidents of anti-social behaviour and crime.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “In the past week, police have dealt with a number of incidents of anti-social and disorderly behaviour resulting in a high number of arrests and reports being submitted to the PPS (Public Prosecution Service).
“Some of these incidents have been reported to police by members of the public.
“We would continue to encourage people to report incidents of crime and anti-social Behaviour in their local areas by calling 101 and asking for the City Centre Neighbourhood Team.”
