Police in Derry have renewed their appeal about information about a fatal road accident last month in which a 21-year-old pedestrian was knocked down and killed.
Ciaran Feeney, from Tamnaherin, died after he was struck by a car as he walked along Glenshane Road, close to its junction with Drumahoe Road, at approximately 1.50am on Sunday, 13 July.
As part of the ongoing investigation, police are organising a reconstruction of the accident this evening, between 10.00pm and 11.00pm on the Glenshane Road adjacent to Altnagelvin Hospital.
Diversions will be in place.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or anyone who was travelling on the Glenshane Road between 1.30am and 2.10am on Sunday, 13 July, and who saw a young man wearing a grey hooded top and blue jeans walking along the footpath or road to contact the Collision Investigation Unit at Steeple Police Station or police at Strand Road on the non emergency 101 telephone number.
