Doire Colmcille senior team coach, Brian Duffy has urged all squad members to step up training in preparation for the club’s next championship game against Glack.
His appeal comes after the club was defeated by championship favourites, Moneymore, at Banagher on a 2-11 to 1-04 scoreline.
While disappointed, Duffy was fulsome in his praise of his players, in particular of the five minor plays to took part.
The manager has also called on all club members and particularly all senior squad members to turn out next Monday night for Colmcille minor’s next championship game.
Training for the senior and minor teams continues at Páirc Cholmcille on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 7.00pm to 8.15pm.
Under-14 training is on Wednesday (7.00pm) and Saturday (11.30am), also at Páirc Cholmcille.
A number of Doire Colmcille kit bags are available for purchase at £20 each.
Further details from club chairman, Mark Higgins.
The club is open to anyone wishing to become involved in Gaelic games in any capacity.
