Police in Derry are keen to speak to two people in connection with an incident in the city at the weekend in which a man was robbed while he lay unconscious after being attacked in the Ballymagroarty area of the city.
The incident occurred about 9.30pm on Saturday last when the man was walking up Aileach Road on the same side of the road as the bungalows at Ennis Place.
A PSNI spokesperson said the man felt someone or something strike him to the head and he was rendered unconscious.
He later attended Altnagelvin Hospital where he received three staples.
His mobile phone is missing and the man believes it may have been taken while he was unconscious.
Two people were seen running away from near the victim when he was on the ground, and police are keen to speak to them.
The police spokesperson said said they were also keen to hear from anyone who can help establish how the man sustained his injuries.
The spokesperson said information could be given on the police non-emergency 101 telephone number or, Alternatively, to the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
