Tony McNamee has left Derry City.
The 21-year-old, from Ramelton in Co Donegal, is expected to join Glenavon in the Irish League’s Danske Bank Premier Division.
The midfielder is understood to have trained with the Lurgan club last night ahead of a possible move.
If the move does go ahead, he will join former Derry City duo, Eddie McCallion and Ciaran Martyn, at Mourneview Park.
It is believed his decision to leave City was prompted by a desire to play first team football after limited appearances for the Brandywell club.
