City of Derry Spartan Alan Bogle.
City of Derry Spartan Alan Bogle will be one of the favourites for Springwell Running Club’s annual Downhill Demesne Trail Race taking place today over a five mile course around the scenic Downhill Estate close to Castlerock in Co Derry.
A previous winner of the event, Bogle has enjoyed several recent successes, the most notable being the Lurig Challenge.
Mark McKinstry (North Belfast Harriers), Conor McQuillan (North Belfast Harriers) and Stephen Prentice (Enniskillen Running Club) are also expected to contest the podium places.
