Derry athlete Chris McPeake is expected to be among the frontrunners in today’s Moneymore 10k taking place in the beautiful setting of Springwell House in the Co Derry town.
The City of Derry Spartan made a successful return two weeks ago after a lengthy absence from competitive athletics to win the Ballinderry 10k.
On that occasion he posted a time 34.24 to retain the title he won the previous year.
McPeake crossed the line with 15 seconds to spare over runner-up Aaron Meharg, who is also running today.
