Derry City got back to winning ways in the SSE Airtricity Premier Division with a comfortable 4-0 away win over Limerick FC at Thomond Park.
Patrick McEleney followed up his wonder strike against Malahide in the FAI Cup on Friday night with another fantastic goal to give City the lead, finishing off a team move from the edge of the box in the 20th minute.
Michael Duffy doubled the advantage 15 minutes later when he capitalised on poor defending by the Limerick defence.
Philip Lowry wrapped the points up for the Candystripes in the 64th minute when he found the bottom corner of the net following excellent play between Duffy and McEleney.
Ryan Curran added a fourth in the 87th minute, five minutes after coming on as a substitute.
