Institute progressed to the next round of the League Cup with a hard-fought win over Championship 2 side Dollingstown at Drumahoe tonight.
Thomas McBride fired Paul Kee’s ahead in the 22nd minute when he rifled a shot to the back of the net after being excellently picked out by Cormac Burke.
Burke added a second in the 76th mintue when, after receiving an excellent pass from Paul McVeigh, he turned a defender to slot the ball into the bottom corner to see of a spirit Lurgan side.
