Kyle McCarron produced the “shot of the year” to hole his tee shot at the 360 yard par four second hole at North West Golf Club at the weekend.
Playing for the Eamon MacManus’s Presidents Prize, big hitting Kyle used a driver off the back off the back tees to record the “ace” on the straight par four which is protected by eight bunkers.
And golf being golf, he recorded a “bogey” four at the next hole, the 16t2 yard par three.
“Scratch” golfer Kyle went to complete his round in 69 shots to win the gross prize.
